Othello 4 Megumi is holding Yaya's hand and says they have to cooperate against Nana. Megumi tells Yaya to go into the headmaster's office to get Nana's file and naiv as Yaya is she does so. Megumi is waiting in front of the office, but then she just leaves. Inside Yaya is accidentally breaking a figure and she tries to fix it again. Meanwhile Megumi is having troubles with some classmates and we see two old faces again: Seri and Moe. Yaya comes back and she looks real down, she takes Megumi to the chemistry lab and tells her about what happened. Megumi simply makes an excuse, tells Yaya good luck and leaves. She leaves and thinks Yaya is really unbelievably stupid. Yaya goes back to the office and finally gets the register, but she has to hide because suddenly a girl and a sempai come in to have sex O_o. Yaya almost freaks out ,but then the girl touches the broken figure with her foot and it gets damaged again. The two leave quickly and so does Yaya. Megumi and Yaya meet at a café and Megumi looks through the register and find 8 girls with Nana in their names, but when they check them out, nobody is the Nana they are looking for. There is only one Nana left and suddenly Megumi spots a girl with the same hairstyle as Nana. She looks real mad ,so Megumi pushes Yaya forward and she gets a punch. Later Moriyama goes to Yaya on the rooftop and puts a handkerchief soaked with water on her cheek. Yaya is very touched and they have one of their rare moments together. Megumi sees them and she's very mad. Later Megumi comes to Yaya again and says they still have to find Nana, but Yaya says she doesn't even know what Nana looks like, so Megumi better search herself, but Megumi goes into the "We are friends so pleeeeeeeeeaaaaase" mode and Yaya is left back. Seri and Moe are so pissed because of Megumi, so they hire some guys, but Megumi knocks them out. Yaya is sitting in class and she's real mad and desperate because she doesn't understand why she has to work against Nana, when she doesn't even know her. Suddenly she raises up her head slowly, of course she turned into Nana. She says she and Yaya have the same face. The two guys apologise to Megumi and she hires them now. She shows them a picture of Nana. Later of course, Nana gives them and Megumi the punishment from heaven and says they stand no chance against her. However Megumi stands up again and challenges Nana and (if this kowasa is what I think) tells her that Nana should be afraid of her. Suddenly Shomhei comes in his car and greets Nana. Megumi greets Shohei and says she didn't expect to see him here, Nana is surprised that they seem to know each other and Shohei doesn't look happy. Megumi says they just kinda know each other from former times. Shohei says he hoped he could forget about her and Megumi laughs at this. Megumi provokes Shohei and he doesn't say anything, he doesn't even look at her. Nana tells Megumi to shut up. Megumi leaves and says she wishes those two idiots fun. Nana asks Shohei if he and Megumi are acquaintances but Shohei really doesn't want to talk about it. Shohei then gives her an MD to listen to (on the MD stands "for 7", 7 means "nana" in Japanese). Nana laughs about this and they have a childish little fight. Before Shohei leaves he tells to Nana that it's all right about Megumi Hano. Nana wonders what this means. Later Megumi is talking about that Nana thing again and Yaya wants to tell her that she want to stop but Megumi makes her feel very uncomfortable again. Two girls come and say they want to talk to megumi and she says Yaya should come with them. We learn that Megumi's father is in the management of a big company for people who want to get into the show business and those two girls want to go there and Megumi says they are cute and their chances are high. Yaya looks kinda surprised. Megumi gives the girls forms for a casting and asks Yaya if she also wants to go. Yaya says no, but she's thinking about her dream of becoming a singer when she was a child. Megumi realizes this, but Yaya says she really doesn't want to. Later she is looking into her bag and finds the MD Shohei gave to Nana before. When she listens to it she's really taken away by the music. Moriyama comes up and listens with Yaya to the music. A little surprised, he asks Yaya who's music this is and she says she doesn't know. We have another Moriyama - Yaya moment ,but Megumi comes up and goes between them. Moriyama says they were just having fun together and Megumi says that's no fun for her, 'cause she likes Moriyama so much. She repeats how serious she is about him, but he doesn't seem to take her too seriously and she looks really down (seems as if Megumi truly loves Moriyama). She helps Yaya picking up her stuff and sees a picture of Shohei and asks if Yaya is Shoehi's fan. Moriyama says it's LOVE what Yaya is feeling for him. Yaya looks very disappointed, because the one she's loving now… Next, Megumi comes up with a casting form and says Yaya really should go, because she'll be meeting Shohei there, 'cause her brother was Juliet's drummer. Yaya is still insecure, but Megumi cheers her up and Yaya says okay. One of the girls from the day before, who wanted a form comes and she's in tears. Megumi quickly drags her away. The girl tells her it was such a shock because a strange guy named Nagase-kun suddenly wanted to get intimate with her and Megumi acts as if she's totally sorry for this girl. Later Yaya asks her why this girl said she was shocked and Megumi says she was shocked because she was meeting her idol. On the next day, Yaya and Megumi go to a hotel room and Yaya is very excited, but Megumi tells her to relax. Yaya cools a little down, but suddenly Megumi is gone. Yaya is looking through the suite and sees a large doublebed. Somebody comes up from behing and Yaya thinks it's Shohei, but it's a strange guy called Nagase. He says Yaya is cute and asks if she's pure and stuff and gets closer to Yaya and even wants to go with his hand under Yaya's shirt but she's so afraid that she turns into nana and knocks this guy out. Nana goes home and remembers some moments with Shohei and Megumi. She thinks she will definitely not lose to Megumi. Yaya wakes up on the next morning and still still afraid because of what happened the day before. Megumi goes to Nagase and is surprised that the suite looks so damaged. Megumi apologises to Yaya and says it won't be happening again, but Yaya says she doesn't wan't to do this any longer. Megumi says that's okay and leaves ,but she's really pissed off. Suddenly Seri and Moe stop her. They tell her Yaya has something like a split personality that always changes suddenly. Seri shows Megumi Yaya's true behaviour, one moment she's shy and weak, then she's real strong. Seri and Moe wish her luck and say they'll support her. They leave and say with Megumi's help they could make it and everything will be the way it used to be. Meanwhile Megumi thinks what Seri and Moe said is simply ridiculous, but then she stops and remembers the damaged suite and that Seri and Moe said Yaya can be very strong and impudent. On the next day Moriyama listens to Yaya's MD again and they are playing around (it's really cute). Two girls come up and ask if they are going out and they look good together. Yaya shakes her head and says no way and Moriyama asks if they look as if they would be going out and the girls say they do. Megumi overhears the whole situation, she suddenly screams Yaya's name and asks her to come with her for a second. She says about work, they have a deal, so Yaya has to decide. She has to continue working or paying. Megumi puts a lot of pressure on Yaya and for one second Yaya gets a strange expression and asks what she's planning to do, but she's going ack to her normal self again right after that. Yaya rushes out after school and bumps into Moriyama: He asks what's up and Yaya says she has to go to work. Moriyama says he also have to work, they are sharing the same fate. He gives her the v-sign (he's very cute in this scene). Megumi again sees everything. Yaya works in a restaurant and Megumi comes in with some other girls. They confuse Yaya and are very mean to her. Yaya wants to serve Ramen, but she falls over some girl's foot and spills the ramen over a lady's head. On her way home, Yaya's down again. She's looking into a mirror on the streets and transforms into Nana. This time it's no usual transformation, Yaya can see the picture of Nana in her eyes and it's the first time Yaya feels that something is happening with her body. Nana smiles and says a woman has her body to earn money. Next we see a street with many bars and so on. Nana works on this street as a construction worker. The other workers seem to be impressed about her and say how tough she is. Then Megumi and the girls come up and Megumi is surprised to see Nana. She notices how stupid it is for a women to work here and Nana gives her the punishment from heaven (she gets a little wound on her cheek). On the next morning Yaya wakes up with pain in her back and wonders about the money she finds on her desk. She shows megumi the money and also tells her how much her back hurts. She sees her wound on her cheek and asks her how she got it but Yaya says she forgot. After yaya is gone, Megumi combines all those facts and thinks that Yaya must be Nana. Later Megumi goes to Seri and Moe and tells them about this and Seri says "Nana" is the name Yaya gave herself when she became strong. Megumi stares, she knows that she was right. Later in class she is staring at Moriyama and Nana again. She goes to them and asks her why she's always playing the weak girl and adds a "Nana-chan". Yaya and Moriyama stare at her and Yaya asks why she called her Nana. Moriyama says that's stupid, Yaya and Nana are totally different persons and after Megumi doesn't want to stop he drags Yaya away. Megumi is really mad and destroys some things around her. Seri and Moe come and tell her that she's cosplaying, Megumi sees a new chance. Megumi has gathered a lot of people and they catch Yaya at the restroom and show her her cosplay dress. Yaya stares. They force her into wearing it and go on the rooftop with her. Downstairs students are standing and watching everything. On the rooftop there's a microphone and Megumi asks Yaya is she and Nana are the same. Yaya breaks down but everyone continues. Meanwhile Moriyama-kun comes up and sees everything. Yaya of course transform and megumi seems to be happy about that. Nana says she's H.M from class B and this is the place for her practice and she does weird things with her legs. Megumi is in shock. She runs away, but Nana grabs a skateboard from a guy and chases her. She knocks Megumi out and for the first time Megumi looks really defeated. Nana gives her a lecture and says next time they shall fight 1 against 1. Nana leaves with the skateboard and crashes into Moriyama-kun. Nana transforms back and Moriyama asks what was happening. Megumi comes downstares and sees Yaya and is real scared. Yaya says she isn't wuite sure about what happened and Megumi comes out and says she#s acting like the shy girl again. Yaya starts crying and Megumi realizes this isn't acting. She is thinking about this. What is Sanae thinking about Othello vol 4? I especially liked the Megumi- Shohei interactions, I'd like to know what was going on between them. Was she the reason for Juliet to separate? Sadly there wasn't much Shohei in this volumes. I got to like him a lot. Moriyama is great as usual (except of the "She loves Shohei" thing). I really want him to fall for Yaya. I think he's not in love with her yet, and I guess he doesn't know about her feelings either (stupid boy, everyone could tell). I liked this volume a lot, but please Ikezawa-sensei, let Yaya become stronger *begs*. This series is running for almost 20 chapters now and Yaya hasn't changed a bit, except of that she realized her love for Moriyama. What I would like to see in vol 5: more Shohei, Megumi becoming Yaya's (real) friend and more romance between Moriyama and Yaya. Yatta! ^_^ ISBN 4-06-341344-6 Back
